The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is the only nonprofit professional engineering education organization that actively promotes the advancement of both individual technical knowledge and the collective engineering capabilities of governments, the uniformed services and private industry.
Our everyday goal is to unite public and private sector entities and individuals in the A/E/C fields so that we can prepare for and overcome natural and man made disasters, acts of terrorism and improve security at home and abroad.
Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise money to support engineering students as they pursue their engineering degrees through scholarships and to support other charity organizations such as Houston Food Bank, Wounded Warrior Project and Wreaths Across America. SAME has committed to providing $25,000 in scholarships in 2022 and is working to support the same if not more next year.
